Star Wars Weekend 2012 in Tåstrup, Denmark

Featuring

swdel.png - weekend participants

Was absolutely wonderful, I have been able to attend a few of the gatherings in Tåstrup and I must say it is a pleasure every time.

I spent some quality time with David/Dave Prowse, Richard LeParmentier, Tim Dry, Alan Flyng, John Coppinger and the wonderful Pam Rose and I was able to carry greetings to them from:

501_legion_chinese_outpost.jpeg

Which the participants, as you can see hereunder truly appreciated and some asked about the Chinese Outpost 501 badge (the cloth badge to sew on clothes) and availability thereof - and there was even expressed an interest in visiting China from some of the participants, so zhōng guó ren - Get going and make it happen!

The recipients

Sorry for the quality they were taken on an old phone - you can right click and choose view picture for a larger images.

Seeing the pleasure on their faces was fantastic and the sincere reaction all of them promptly displaying their greetings from the 501 of China was great. Yeah yeah - how could I see under the Trooper masks :)

A quest begins

Then wheels went into motion with Alan Flyng being the first to sign up. (He is an awesome guy - adorable really) The others as well, no doubt about it. It is brilliant to see Hollywood stars meet their audience without any barriers face to face, especially when they are doing it in the service of a good cause.

But refraining from trailing further off into pleasantries let's get to the bottom of what happened next.

These honorable gentlemen and one fine lady in the spirit of “Movember” the month so “renamed” to create awareness about men's cancer created something unique.

Yes indeed - All of them have signed their photographs, and this is no ordinary photograph, no sir, uh oh, they have dutifully equipped their characters with the most awesome stash they could think of - Here are the results.

But wait it gets better!

These unique one of a kind autographs are being put up for auction running throughout the last 10 days of November, they will go as a set with all the proceeds, minus auction fee and possible money transfer fee, going to one of Dave Prowse's favorite charities the Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign.

THE MOST AWESOME PRIZE IN THE WORLD FOR A STAR WARS FAN

The autographed photographs must without doubt be one of the most awesome prizes for any Star Wars fan out there in search for unique collectibles.

This is a unique opportunity for Star Wars fans to take possession of some of the most unique autographs in the Star Wars universe and doing good at the same time.

Auction

The auction is now live at EBAY - https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=251179212223 - and runs for remaining days of November 2012.

The autographs are off course authenticated as you can seen from the pictures further down.

They will be sold as a set - So you get all of the pictures as this is a joint effort to raise money for charity.

I hope that you will help to bid and raise some serious cash for cancer research and cancer care.

600DPI

You can click on the links below for 600DPI resolution here. The 600 DPI scans might to the untrained eye look like it has been doctored, but they're not (see authentication images below) - But please refrain from doing so unless you absolutely have to. And the coffee stain on Tim's photo is authentic, he offered to make another one, but I figured - heck then the picture comes with an additional story.
